    Sekonic L-308S or L-358

It comes down to about $40 pre-tax price difference between the 2 with the rebate and 10% off from a seminar last night. Is the added features of the 358 really worth the extra $40?

    Sekonic L-358

I've never used the 308s, but I have a L-358 with the remote chip. If you ever decide to use the pocketwizard system, the 358 with the remote chip is very handy. It will eliminate the need for a cord that I trip on every time I use it.

The 358 has a couple more features plus the remote capability. I've used both and as far as pure function goes, they are equal. I currently use the 358 since I have pocket wizards for my strobes. I actually like the larger size of the 358 as well. The 308s is pocket sized and the buttons are a tad small for fat fingers
